He lost his touch and most of his fans when he went to satalite but now I hear that Serius is buying XM out...

(Which is exactly what I said would have to happen if)
(either satalite radio station wanted to survive at all)

Will he suddenly become funny again or will it just be a push by the Serius crew to make us believe he is popular?

He's funny as a group; he has writers, so some of the stuff he says is coming across a ticker on his computer screen. He's a perv more than anything.

No one touches Howard entertainment wise. He has the best show in history of Radio, & it's better now than it has ever been in the past. Looking at your comments & considering you can't even spell Sirius, I doubt you have even ever heard him on satellite, so how canyou even judge him? Also Sirius has over 6million subscribers, with an average listening base of 2.5 people per radio, which comes out to 15million people, & 65% of Subscribers listen to Stern, whcih creates 10 million listeners which is DAMN good, & three times as much as Leno or anyone else has...

Love, Love, Love him and we bought satellite when he left "regular" radio. I've listened to him since the early '90s and won't be stopping anytime soon. The entire ensemble of people on the show add to the fun flavor and it's definitely better on satellite. Oh, and I'm a girl!! Imagine that :)

Maybe he wants out of his contract.

That was a tactic some rock performers used to take in the 1970s. They would spend gobs of money making a new album they knew was disasterously bad, just to encourage the record company to figure they were washed up, and let them go free.

Now, someone who is REALLY funny is Stephen Colbert on Comedy Central. I am a true Ronald Reagan Conservative, and if I can appreciate his humor, he must be hilarious.

(P.S. John Stewart is a preening jerk, and not fit to even share the same stage as Stephen Colbert)
