I want to know why you are asking this question? Are you taking a poll on how many people are wondering the same answer to your question of WHY? Do you enjoy brain teasers?

Do you enjoy reading philisophocal answers, and Ideas?

Could it be Why was the world created? If you beleive in g-d then it was created so that we can do as many good deeds, on this world, and reap our fruits in the world to come.

Why is there so much love, generousity, violence, and hate? Because of the way a person was raised.

The first 6 years of a persons life scientists have learned are the most crucial years of a childs life. It is determined during those 6 years, the character, disposition, emotional, and mental stability of how the childs future are developed.

Why is the world round and not square, that is how g-d created it.

Why do people participate in Yahoo answers? Because they like to help people, they are bored, loney, have great satisfaction earning points, or just like communicating with others

Why do people have hobbies? For the same reason they go into certain fields of work. They enjoy them.

Why do people work? To survive

Why do people have children. To leave a permanent mark, that they exsited on earth at one time.

The answer to your question is endless. I really don't think there can be a best answer to you question.
Why did I answer your question and participate? So that you would know as I was taught by my mother (I am a grandmother now)

Because there are so many tragedies in this world that could be solved, or at least improved, if people only took the time.

Because I was blessed with a strong mind and body. I didn't earn these things, thus I am charged with using them to help others, they are a public good.

Because if individuals don't, the government will, and things almost always work better when the government doesn't get involved.

The Question: Why should we help others?

Some thing happened in a public place or in a house.
When some thing happens, three questions arise -
what, how, and why.

In a short period of time, one can know what happened.
It takes some time to investigate and find how it happened.
You will never get the answer for why it happened.

There's no reason, it is just the way it is. Life is not fair, this is still a jungle where only the strongest survive, deserve has nothing to with that and all living things eventually die.

That's the answer to THE why.

I want to know why someone is covering himself infront of me?

In parallel,
God is mentioned in the Bible that he covers his face to the sinners and unworthy. Does that mean to say I am one?
