My Wife... I have to tell you why... In "03" I was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney disease. This disease killed my father In "01"
When I first found out, my kidney function was about 50%. They have rapidly deteriorated. Now they are only functioning at 15%. So I will soon have to start dialysis or need a transplant. Several months ago the prep for which ever was to come first began. I had a fistula placement in arm. My wife and I began a series of tests to determine if she was compatible kidney match.
Today we know it is a match. With in the next 8 weeks My wife and I are going to have the transplant surgery.
I love her so much and i am very thankful for this gift.
My wife is my hero.

My step dad is my hero.He was in the navy and went to sea for 6 months one time. When he left, he had 2 children. They were just babies. 6 months later,He steped off ship to a family of 5 children -- 3 of which were teenagers. He smiled opened his arms, and kissed me on the cheek as if I had always been his daughter. Not once since I have known him,has this man EVER made a wrong step at being a model father. He has always been just,patent and kind. He has never shown any resentment or regret for having us pushed into his life. If I could have chosen a dad myself...I could not have chosen better. This man should be FATHER OF THE DECADE....This is a good man, no this is a great man.
