Which country makes the best beer is pretty subjective. If you are looking for traditional beers made with only barley malt, hops, yeast and water then Germany is the best. If you are looking for more exotic flavors from the use of fruits, specialty sugars, spices, wild yeasts and bacterias then the hands down choice would be Belgium. If you want the largest selection of beer styles and high alcohol or highly hopped extreme beers then the United States would win. I hope this helps.

I am an Edward too so I like you. As a fellow Edward, let me tell you Germany - specifically Bavaria. Every town has not only their own brand, but their own style of beer. All amazing. Only way to experience it is to visit. Some bigger International cities (NYC, Toronto, London) have been doing a good job of importing.
This is coming from an Irish guy living in a place where Budweiser has brainwashed the masses.

That would have to be Germany, although there are equally good microbreweries here in the USA.
I love sampling different beers all the time, and while German beers are excellent, I've sampled a lot of "unexciting" German lagers.
Here in the US, you really can't beat products from Sam Adams. Goose Island is pretty darn good, too.
I'm in the midwest, so I guess I'm prejudiced to Wisconsin microbrews, but there are just a lot of good ones that rival the German imports...and I love Heineken.

Commercially, I'd either say Belgium or Germany. Privately, I make my own beer and I like it far more than anything I can get out there. So I'll say Canada.

I don't know, but as of the U.S., Wyoming's beer is my favorite, compared to Utah's weak beer!
