Depending on what the occasion is...

But right now, I'm really enamoured with this one:

It looks really business-like (great for office), but the colour is gorgeous, and is on stylish angle for me...

But if I were to design one.. probably in an oceany-teal colour, slightly off shoulder, with a flowing cut on the bias skirt, not too tight or weird on top, just plain and simple, but with a nice ruching effect where the fabric wraps around my stomach, and looks a bit grecian..

Look at this picture as an example for the top:

I wore this beautiful dress once - I was thirteen at the time, completely flat, thin as a rail, and just over five feet tall, just so you can get an idea of how I looked in it. It was a cream tea-length halter dress. It had gold embroidery on the skirt (it was an A-line skirt, with tons of tulle underneath) and the top was ruched. So pretty!

My favorite dress is a gauzy nylon dress with a handkerchief bottom. It has long sleeves, but they're nearly see-through (the same lightweight material as the dress). The dress has a plunging V neckline, too, so it has a nice slightly sexy look to it. The dress is a print, but it's a very subtle black/brown/green.

My favorite dress would have to be my dark grey jersey wrap dress. It fits so well, hugging every curve in just the right way. It is never ever wrinkled, so it always looks polished in every situation. You can dress it up with heels and a cute bag or dress it down with sandals. I love it, would have been late about a hundred times without it.

ok i always thought that a dress should either be red or black. the shape should be close fit but streatchy and it sould be comfortable but sexy and made for all body types. plus the dress should be about knee lenth or shorter
