WHAT!!!! Personally, I would 1) no longer talk to that co-worker and 2) tell him to f*** off and 3) tell him its none of his business who I marry and who I don't. You did not lower yourself because you didn't marry an American. I wouldn't want to marry one either because America has become so 'self' focused. They care only about what they can do for themselves. Don't listen to the stupid co-worker. Good for you!

I believe He is both, and You may easily sue him for it or at least ask for Your Supervisor's intervention. It is not just disrespectful but illegal.
Keep an eye on him, since this kind of attitus may aggravate with time and lead to an inadequate work environment for You and other co-workers.

I think your coworker is way out of line to impose such a judgement on you. I try to keep my socializing at work to a minimum for reasons like this.
