People actually pierce the webbing of their hands?! Do some people pierce the webbing of their feet? Why do you pierce your hand? Not trying to sound rude, I have just recently heard about this for the first time and cant even believe its real.

People will pierce any part of their body. Since piercings have gone mainstream a lot of people look for that next big shocker...piercing your hand webbing is just one example. There's also forking your tongue and branding. I guess soem people will do anythign to stand out in a crowd. I have two piercings (besides ears) - my navel adn nose.

Because they want to start a new trend, and be the first to think up some new idiotic place to pierce, gets a bit boring and silly I think.

It's real alright. The newest thing is getting your neck peirced right in the middle at your collar bone. If you can pinch an inch, it can be pierced.

Hey, I saw a pretty girl clerking in a store, and she had 5 safety pins THROUGH her eyebrow. I resisted the urge to ask her why. But nothing surprises me now.

Yes, that's crazy, there's this one girl in my geometry class with her NECK pierced, it's kind of awesome but yet really questionable, it's wierd.

It's a way of expressing yourself.
When people first started peircing their ears other people kept asking them why do that? but really if your peircing your ears, your nose, your bellybutton or your neck or your hand...
It's basicly all the same.
It is a form of expression.

People pierce every piece of flesh you can think of. They do it coz they want to. What doest it matter? People can do what ever they want to their own body.

some do but is usually the people that get their tongue sliced into two and make themselves into reptiles.
