The heartbeat is fine. Dont worry. You may not be feeling your baby kick as much because they usually become more active when you are at rest. When you are sleeping for example. There is no set number of kicks you should feel in a day. Dont stress yourself out because stress can be more harmful to a baby than most things. Take a deep breath and relax its totally normal to be worried about something going wrong. It just means you love your child and will make a good parent. =)

My advice to you is anytime you feel that he hasn't moved in a while and you feel uncomfortable Call your Doc! Don't shrug it off as a first time mom/being over paranoid. You can NEVER be to cautious. This way you wont be worried why he hasn't moved in a couple hours or so. Your doctor can reassure you when he checks you out. My sister actually rented a heart beat monitor during her 3rd pregnancy. Every time she felt uneasy that he hadn't moved in a while she would get the heartbeat monitor out. You have to know how to tell the difference between yours and his though. She lost her 2nd baby to stillbirth and the monitor eased her worries.

I am 27 weeks and just went to the doctors yesterday with the same question...they said I should feel the baby kick at least 8 times in an hour after having a snack, meal, or resting....anything less should be reported to your doctor ASAP as the baby may be in distress. Your babys heart rate is normal. Good Luck....and don't worry...stress isn't good for the baby either.

In my third trimester my doctor gave me a kick count log. I had to lay down after eating once a day and make sure that he kicked at least ten times in one hour. If he didn't then they tell you to try having a glass of milk or a snack and try again, but if you don't feel ten kicks in an hour after trying 3 times then you should call your doctor or the triage center where you are going to give birth.

You sound like you are doing just find. Just keep praying to God and ask Jesus to watch and protect you. Don't worry everything will be just fine and you will have a wonderful and blessed baby.
Stay eating and drinking healthy, stay praying, and stay going to your doctor .

i wouldnt worry too much since you made it this far..you need to feel him kicking atleast 5-10 times a day..but now that your getting farther along and its getting tighter in there for him you might feel them less..just try drinking something cold and lying down on your back for a bit and place your hands on your stomach and see what he does..that is what i do before i go to bed just to reasure myself...good luck and congrats..

my advice to you is to relax and stop worrying... you have made it this far you need to worry if you don't feel the baby move at all...I'm 23 weeks and i my baby moves mostly at night when I'm trying to sleep...and then decides to stop moving when I'm awake...and to the person who answered above and said for you to drink allot of coffee don't listen caffeine is really bad for the baby...
