I'm thinking about getting contacts but i can't stand even some sand in my eyes; i'll start crying and my eyes`ll get red. Do contacts feel weird, or make your eyes dry?

No, they should not hurt. At first, they may feel a little strange, but I, for instance, am wearing contacts now and feel nothing. Also, if the first brand you try doesn't work for you, don't just write off the whole idea - you can probably find some that are comfortable. It may take a little while before you feel comfortable putting them in a taking them out, but don't sweat it.

I went through a few different kinds and would notice that they'd get dry at the end of the day and I would have to take them out. Now I wear Focus Night and Day and they are AWESOME! They are approved for overnight wear and you can use them for 30 days at a time. I never feel them. They're a little more expensive but you can wear them twice as long as traditional disposables. Give it a try - it is so nice not to have to wear glasses every now and then! Good luck ~

No, but a lot depends on the type you get. Most are disposable soft lenses. Be sure to take them out at least every other day and let them soak for the night. The biggest annoyance is getting them in. I have learned they tend to float in the saline solution when shaken in the overnight container, in the right position. So shake your eye container, look in and see how they are sitting pull it our and place on the tip of a dry finger. Now look at it from the side and you should see a slight turn in this is the correct side. If you see a ever so slight turn out then it is backwards.

You shouldn't be able to feel the contacts at all (especially soft lenses). They do take some getting used to, but your vision will be much sharper. Some people do get dry eyes from their contacts, but there are certain brands with a higher water content to prevent that from happening - ask your eye doctor about them.

They don't hurt, but they can make your eyes feel dry. That's what eye drops are for. The challenge is learning to put them in, and then getting them out again. I prefer contacts over glasses, though.

The first couple of weeks they feel like there is like something scraping in ur eye every time u blink, but that's because your just getting used to them, don't worry after that u cant even feel them until they get dry. Be careful if u rub ur eye they might come out...mine don't but i don't rub my eyes that much.

I tried contacts. They don't hurt while in your eye. You can hardly tell they are there. It is getting them in and out of your eye that hurts. Some people are just really good at it, and can pop them out quickly. I tried and tried and listened to people's advice and never could do it without hurting my eye so I stopped wearing them. But you may be just fine at it, who knows?

i have contacts and if you take proper care of them it should not hurt and relax they feel a little weird but they give you a trial pair to try out so if you don't like them you don't have to try them ever again

You won't even be able to tell they're there.

Just be sure they're clean & don't have any rips, that's the only time they'll bother you.

When you 1st put them on, your eyes may water & little, but that's it.
