Well, in 04 I protest voted for Kerry and in 06 I voted for some Democrats. However, it irritates me that in my district I don't have more than 2 choices, it sucks. 04 and 06 were against Iraq but 08 I'll vote against illegal immigration.

The last few presidential elections, at least for me, has been about voting AGAINST the person I don't want in.
Pity the American voter.
To choose between far left or far right.
Leaves very little room for us moderates.
Seems the time long overdue to offer up a third party...a moderate party with some of the best aspects of the left and right.
Something like, helping the poor and uneducated, yet strong on defense...pro business but tough on pollution.
But I dream a lot, too!

I personally feel that people think alike (conforming). I really believe we don't believe in "your vote counts" with the electorial college system. It's more like "who's more popular in your state". Remember, if we count individual votes as one, Bush wouldn't of won the first election ;)
Vote anyways. It's one of the things we can do as a citizen.

When I vote, I vote for who will do the job best. Of course I want that person to win. Every difference makes a difference. If you want your opinion to count; VOTE!

I do, but I rarely vote for either of the major parties (and never the "R" one). There is a choice, but not for real change -- money is still the ultimate decider.

Not really. I often feel like I'm voting for what I believe is the lesser of two evils

I belive that voting for the side that your used to, be it republican or democrat, is reassuring enough. However, politics are not perfect (who is?) and there is always a bad apple.. in fact.. there is rarely a good apple.
