Fuocoeghiaccio is wrong.
Its not true that in 50 years there will not be any italians...
come on.
They are counting that in a 10years of time, the births will start again and increase for each year.
And as far as I know, italians are still very national, I dont think they will just "disappear" like that!

And to answer your question:
Italians-muslims are mainly from the maincities(and the north).

Probably less than 1.5 percent. One percent at most. There are a lot of Muslims in Europe and a growing number in Italy. Italy has experienced a population decline too, so there will be more as many Muslim families from outside of the continent have larger families.

Muslims *in Italy*, 1.7% (at least 700 000, although it's likable that's an underestimation), according to European surveys; Muslims who are Italian Citizen or own an Italian passport, just a few.

Unfortunately in Italy there are 2% of muslims, but few italian muslims especially women forced to change is religion for marry. In UK ,France and Germany there are more muslims. We catholics have afraid, because Italy has the lowest birth rate in the world and these muslims make many children so in 50 years italians people probably will disappear.
