According to Boyle's law every 33 feet it will compress to half its size. There is a slight difference in depth between fresh and salt water due to its density but 33 feet is a good enough unless you are working scientific tables. Then you will need the specific density of the water you are using (due to minerals and contaminates)

i think water is a denser medium than air. the surface tension of water will not allow the balloon filled with air(which is lighter compared to water)to go deeper or to drown in water.better if u perfprm this small experiment practically and if so then please inform me the practically demnstrated correct result.

The pressure in the ballon will be increased by the amount of pressure exerted by the height of water (about 0.5 psi per foot) and the balloon's volume will be decreased accordingly.

it will be tough to push down and if u let go it will go up super fast ... also if u go to far down the pressure will pop it
