well madonna said new album, new sound. i think the album is going to be good. well im a huge madonna fan but i dont like her old stuff as much as i like her new(erish) music like ray of light and confessions. so what do you think about her having a new album and what do you think the new sound is gonna be? also do you think the album is gonna be good and do you think shes getting too old( i dont )?

Although she keeps pushing her own boundaries and thereby always rising the levels of expectation, she has never failed to supprise and astonish me. Contrary to her contemporary colleagues of the 80s, she knows it's important to keep re-inventing yourself, to dare to step away from a previous style (even if it was successful) and try out new and fresh material. From pop to electronic to rock to disco...
I heard she's checking out possible collaborations with Pharrell, Timbaland, Moby,... Nothing's certain yet but i'm confident she'll bring us yet another album full of great and innovative tracks! :-)

There were rumors that her last album (now known as Confessions) was supposed to be acoustic rock so she may go in tht direction now since she abandoned it last time, but I doubt it.
Guessing by people she's been collaborating with I'd say it's a sort of electroclash-pop with a hint of hip-hop influences.She wll probably want to cash in on the big success that other artists known mainly for pop vocals have had by adding a little bit of hip-hop (i.e. Nelly Furtado, Fergie, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, etc)
