Ok, I am 28 weeks pregnant and have just been informed that my baby is breech. The little treasure is trying bless him to turn around and in doing so is causing me discomfort (it feels like he is going to tear open my stomach lol) Midwife has assured me that everything is normal so I am not worrying. I would simply like to know if this has happened to anyone else before and do you have any tips on how to help my little one turn so I can be a little more comfortable : (

Try not to worry! I know thats easier said than done...BUT my gorgeous 9 year old son was breech until much later on. Yours could turn any time. Truley I'm not aware of any "Tricks" to help you turn your baby over. Sounds like you know it's a boy already??! Boys, bless them, are a little laid back - so maybe he's just chilling and waiting for the right moment, good luck, all the best x
P.S my son was 6 days overdue and his head wasn't fully engaged the day before I went into natural labour.

It's very normal for your baby to be that way round at 28 weeks. Mine was, and it's not considered to be 'breech' until you're nearly due. They generally turn around themselves, you have plenty of time you know! Mine only turned around a week or so before the birth and mine was early. Don't worry - I know it's hard not to! The discomfort is part of it all, I'm afraid.

This is happening to me right now, I'm 29 weeks pregnant, the only thing to do is wait, we still have about 10 more weeks to go so he probably turn in to position by then. Good luck with the discomfort, I don't know what to do myself about that.

dont worry sweetheart,we all imagine the worst scenario.so many thoughts go through our heads, this is just another worry, you have time for the baby to move around into the best position.he or she is trying to wind you up already.my third child was late turning around but she did, even if yours don't you are going to be in the best possible hands, you and your baby will be safe and well.its too early at moment.try not to worry you have plenty of time.relax

I wouldn't worry about it with my first he had to be turned (that was over 28yrs ago) only don't think they do it now my second she turned on her own lots of times they do, you still have a good bit to go and I know it's a horrible feeling and it hurt mine were like footballers. Don't you go worrying your midwife will take good care of you. Good luck with your soon to be arrival

Spend as much time on your hands and knees. This helps the baby get into the right position, but remember that he may turn himself in time, there's still 10 weeks left, and babies can do all sorts inside their mummies!

If anyone tries to manually turn your baby, please don't let them, for that will cause more pain!

my daughter was breech, they said my pelvis was too small to deliver her so i had a c-section with her, but i had my son normal

so dont worry yet hun theres still time for baby to turn, try rubbing your tummy and talking to it to see if this helps move him

good luck hun im sure everything will be fine

oh hun these midwives love to scare us - i think its a control thing!! You have 12 weeks to go yet.. your baby is probably still doing loop-da-loop in his little safe haven. I wouln't worry, if it's your first baby, he may not even engage until right at the last minute - but it's all perfectly normal!
Good luck xXx
