The emulator is like Star Wars Galaxies but free and pre-cu. I really loved it and im just curious what happened to it because the site was shut down.

Ohhhh yeah, Sony wanted to shut that down fast. The SWG emulator is quite illegal, as it infringes upon copyrights and intellectual property, a very clear-cut case. Whether Sony listens to their fans or not is another matter, but they have legal right to shut that down, and a whole lot of motivation to do so.
If it were to still exist, it would have to be underground, shared only between people who knew about it, hard to find, unadvertised, to stay under Sony's radar.

What the first guy said. It's just like EvolutionX for the xbox. you can still get it but yu have to use the irc channel "#xbins"
