Many would say some of his actions are quirky: being photographed locked in a hyperbaric breathing machine, buying the bones of the Elephant Man, his relationship with the chimp called bubbles, living in a house with an amusement park called Never-land. Dangerously hanging his infant son over a balcony rail so fans could get a good look at the child, the way he got custody of his children when the mother just gave them to him, his arrest many years ago of child molestation and recently being charged yet again by another child and the subsequent trial which lead to his acquittal. Some of these things are unusual for an adult to be involved in but he was a superstar singer at a very young age and how much that impacted his life and behavior deserves some consideration. He seems to have finally learned his lessons (leave weird stuff and other children alone) and appears now to be keeping a fairly low profile as he raises his family.

i think hes cool.
freaky ? yeah of course, a bit, but then his lifestyle has been a bit crazy.
He's a great singer, dancer, songwriter and performer, a legend of our time.
he makes his money and spends it, who are we to judge ?
