my son was born march 2005 and we named him Gavin Shai, in 1998 my best friend for 12 years now, had a son premature and he passed away 2 days after she had him and i had my son on the same day that she had her son, her sons name was Shai.

I think people try too hard to find a 'different' name for their child just to make it stand out. In a few years time it wont matter what your child is called, because all these 'new age' names will be normal and all the old traditional names will be outnumbered by 100 to 1. Its hardly unusual nowadays to hear some old fishwife screaming at the school gates 'Porsche and Liberty, get back here at once' No-one takes any notice which I guess defeats the object of 'different' names.

I had a girl that worked for me a few years ago. She is probably 25 now. Her name is Trinity. She is the first I ever heard, but it seems to be very popular these days.
Not really answering your question, but I know the name Trinity has been around for at least 25 years.

I didnt have a baby in 2005, but I think Trinity is absolutely beautiful and very unusal.

My eldest daughter was born in 2004 is called Lily and my youngest born 2006 is called Evie.
At their nursery there are two little girls called Trinity - it reminds me of the film Matrix.

I named mine Julia because I have wannted to have a baby Julia since I was a liitle girl. I named my newest daughter Cianna because my husband and I both thought it was a pretty name and not so common. I like Trinity.

We had a boy and named him Charlie. Not Charles, just Charlie. I hadn' theard of many other Charlie's but now there everywhere!! I probably just seems like that though.
I like Trinity but its a bit gothic and Matrix-y for me!

i named my daughter tillimae just because it was something different im not really into everyday names i also like to make up the way i spell my childrens names.
