How do you take a pen mark (black ink) about like half an inch,, out of jeans?

If the stain is permanent marker, try rubbing alcohol first, then if it does not work, or if the stain is ball point pen, try a solvent like goo gone, or citrus solvent, or laundry solvent.

Methylated spirits removes ink and grass stains. use a small a mount on cotton wool rub, then rinse straight away with tepid water once your sure the stain has been removed wash on normal wash

Try spraying with a stain remover like Shout and leaving for 24 hrs.Then launder as usual. Repeat if necessary.

Hairspray works well on shirts, it may work on jeans too. Just spray the ink well with hairspray , rub it in & wash as usual. Good luck.
