Spearing shall mean stabbing an opponent with the point of the stick blade whether contact is made or not.
A double minor penalty will be imposed on a player who spears an opponent and does not make contact.
A major and a game misconduct shall be imposed on a player who spears an opponent. (See also Rule 43 -- Attempt to or Deliberate Injury of Opponents.)
A match penalty shall be imposed on a player who injures an opponent as a result of a spear. (See also Rule 43 -- Attempt to or Deliberate Injury of Opponents.)

It's when someone jabs you with the blade of the stick. It's sort of like butt-ending someone, which is a penalty too. Players can get injured by this.

Stabbing someone with the blade of your stick. Its almost always intentional since its kinda hard to stab someone with that end of your stick by accident. It carries an automatic 5 minute major penalty and a game misconduct (unless your last name is Blake)

This is wrong. What you've described is "butt ending". The earlier posters' explanations are correct: spearing is stabbing someone with the blade of your stick.
