I'm sure all of you have heard about the woman who is tring to make spanking your children under the age of 4 illegal. Well what are your views about it?

I think it is crap.. I am not saying beat them, but sometimes you have to take authority and let them know you are serious. My sister has never once spanked her daughter, and she (my niece) just runs all over her, thinking she is the boss. Sometimes there are ways around it, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

i think when your talking about under 4 a stern voice will work just as good,over that age then one or two smacks won't really hurt.i was not just spanked i was belted and i think i turned out OK.i did spank my kids but the most they got was 3 smacks.in fact they tell me they would have preferred a spanking to the lectures i use to give.:)

I was spanked but I wasn't spanked in till I was 4 years old If your going to spanked then don't do it under the age of 4 and do not do it when anger. or they become vilent and most likly hate you

Who spanks their childrem anymore. All you need to do know is take away our ipods.

BUT Seriously!!!!! How will the cops know???? its not like a 2 or 3 year old will call 911 and say "my mommy spanked me just now!!! arrest her!!!"

Its stupid. the only way people will know is if cops live in your house or stalk you.

i think it is good to make illegal cuz some ppl do spank their kids out in public. like my lil cousin whenever her mom wants to hit her she comes running to me and i tell her mom not to hit her daughter out in public cuz that ain't right. why do ppl have kids or bring in more kids and then some ppl just beat the poor lil kids
