Topshop - Has clothes for the season in and at good prices
Zara - Has clothes for all seasons and great classics but a bit expensive for me - i like the outlet store
Matalan - has some nice pieces at great prices and as they're so cheap you don't feel bad about binnig them when it's out of fashion
Next - it has nice stuff but for more older women, sometimes there is nice stuff but slightly overpriced for what you're getting
Marks and Spencers - It might be nice but it screams old lady shop to me - sorry - no offence anyone but i don't know i haven't ever really looked

Zara, love their stuff,
followed by M and S,Next, Top shop and Matalan equally. Matalan do some nice summer tops and use cheesecloth / indian coton which I like. x

i personally would say;
Zara- its a shop for high fashionable women like in London
Marks and Spencers- its for the higher work in class
Next- advertised like m&s
Topshop- teen store cheap and student discount
Matalan- cheap store not of the beast quality of fabrics and cloths.

But my age will affect the results, topshop is too young now for me

Only one I've heard of is Marks & Spencers, so I'd say they're at the top.
Really, it would depend on personal taste. Your study should be based more on sales and amount of shoppers. Fashion translates differently for everyone.
