I wanna peirce my friends lip because she really wants it i dont want u to answer the question to say don't do it but i wanted to know the steps to do it!!

get a safety pin, disinfect it with rubbing alcohol, put it in a flame for a few seconds and jab it through the skin. It may or may not take more than one attempt. make sure you buy a lip ring for first time users (they have sharp points and it's a lighter metal) before you pierce the lip put some oragel (or any other kind of mouth/tooth pain reliever) on the lip and get it really cold with ice.

you are tripping and your friend must be insane to let you pierce her lip when you are on here asking how you should do it. you are obviously not qualified to do such a thing, and what happens if your friend gets an infection, or you hit some vein or something in her lip and she starts bleeding beyond your control, what if you can't get the needle to pierce the skin the 1st time, are you going to continue trying? there is a reason why you have to be certified/ licensed to perform such a procedure and it because there is the degree of risk involved and there are too many professional places to go. if you two still go along with ridiculous piercing, hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst. use a 14 guage needle, disinfect with saline and/or rubbing alchohol, then push through as hard as you can. make sure your piercee is aware of how bad it will hurt, and it will be easier for you if they're relaxed. it shouldn't hurt them very much, just a tiny bit uncomfortable, so don't worry about hurting them. i got mine done and it hurt less than biting your lip.
it will swell, so be sure to get a big ring. have them use mouthwash after every time they eat or smoke and before they go to sleep and clean the outside every day twice a day with rubbing alchohol
