You have nothing to panic about-- the cramps and brown discharge are very common when the embryo 'implants itself into the uterine wall. not everyone experiences them, but it is nothing to worry about. If the cramps last more than 3/4 days, become severe( meaning that they prevent you from preforming normal daily tasks, or interfere with walking, standing, etc.), or the spotting becomes heavy or bright red, then it warrants at least a call to your doctor, as an eptopic pregnancy or disattachment from the uterine wall is possible.) but as long as it stays brown and light, you are probably fine. Of course, when dealing with your pregnancy, it is always better to be safe then sorry. I know I'd rather call and bug my doc than find out too late that i should have called.
Congrats on your pregnancy, and good luck!

Cramps and brown discharge can be very normal in early pregnancy....BUT they can also be a sign of something wrong..
Maybe try just relaxing...doing absolutely nothing at all and waiting a day...if the brown discharge continues or becomes worse or turns red you need to be seen right away. Also I would call the doctor and let them know what is going on...they may want to see you a little earlier.

Brown discharge could be old blood. You probably shouldn't wait 'til the 22nd. Call the doctor's office and speak to a nurse practitioner and ask if you can be see sooner or if you should go in for an urgent or emergency care appointment.
Good health to you...

Well my experience with my pregnancy is I spotted for the first three months right around when I would have my period, and I had a healthy. You could always call your doc and see if they want you to come in and do a ultrasound but if you are really early they wouldn't be able to see anything anyways. HTH Good Luck hope every thing works out for you

If you found out from an at home test then you should take another one to calm your nerves for a while. If you took one at the doctor's office then it most likely is true. Either way you should try to see if you can see if you can get an appointment for sooner. March 22-Thats a long time to find out how far along you are!

Do not wait. You should at least put a call into your doctor and let them know your symptoms. Cramping and discharge is not normal and should be looked into right away.

You need to call the doctor. Cramps and bleeding together during pregnancy aren't a good thing.
