I never would humiliate my child like that.
And don't put all women in the same bracket as Norman Bates's mom.
But my son at one phase of his life chose to wear a dress now and then and actually started a trend at his school. What did I do? Took him shopping.
Hey, it was a phase... an artistic statement thing.

I would never put my son in a dress - although he did tell me he was going to run away from home when he was about 7 years old.
I told him that was fine but he would have to go the same way as I got him - with no clothes on!

He's 17 now and still living at home.

My step-brother used to this of his own accord! some boys like it. I would never humiliate my child and its not just mothers that are guilty look towards the fathers too.

wow i wouldn't do that stupid thing but i would make him pay for whayeve he did depending on the situation but never something evil or cruel to amke me feel good. I'd make him apologize and do what he can to solve the problem or talk it over and tell him why it was wrong.

No but I'd put you in a dress in a closet if you misbehave.

Oh that is so cruel, basically most children humiliate themselves by acting like a spoil brat when they can't get their own way.

No I would not. I'd say though that there are a few of those dodgy characters around sadly to say

That's an awfully large assumption.... I don't humiliate my kids. I do make sure they behave properly though.

Oh gawd, no. I would never do that to my boys. All I have to do is give them an, "I'm dissapointed in you" kind of look.

no way, that is like so cruel, a boy would probably end up gay or a transvestite or or something. the poor kid would be traumatized
