For Poor Families
The trick is that no matter how many times you use an object, if you sell it in the same day, you can get all your money back. So if your Sim is poor and needs body points or something, buy a body machine and keep selling it back to refund all your money.
Saving Pizza
Have a sim call for pizza. When the pizza delivery guy comes DON'T accept the pizza! The pizza delivery guy will eventually leave the pizza on the front porch, and the pizza will never get stale. You can stack as many pizzas as you want, so if your sims get hungry, just tell them to get a pizza from the front porch.
While in Create-a-Sim, press Shift + N before creating your first sim to enable skintones, clothes, and hairstles that would normally be used only by NPCs. Press Shift + M to disable it.
Press CTRL + SHIFT + C to access the cheat window, then enter the following:

I AM the MASTER of all sims games, Mwwwhhhhaaaa!! Ps2 games are better than the pc games tho. All the cheats i know have already been said. I love playing the newbies on "The Sims" and i luv the Goths house on "The Sims 2" cos they get all the money! I've spent nearly 4 months from having a small cheap flat of mine and turning it into a mansion! Do u also love playing "The Sims bustin' out" and "urbs in the city"? Cos I luv those games too. Best Sims game gotta be "Bustin' out" on ps2.

Meeeeeeeeeee!!! The Sims is cool :D I'd love to do my own content.... but I'm too lazy lol :D the money cheat is the easiest, but its a crutch as well. Its Motherlode, though u probably already know that one :P

If u have the Pets Expansion then there are cheats to give control of your pets to you, but I always forget what it is. Check out WWW.GameFAQS.com, they are the best Imo

I do! But I think its a con that there isnt much in the game so you HAVE TO go out an buy the add ons as you are bored after 2 weeks of playing it.

Personally; I despise it since the first game.

I had the mansion, got bored.. knocked the house down, built a new one.. married and then remarried different people.. neglected new born babies and killed people in my kitchen.

The series and the playboy mansion was a crock of crap.
