Let's see..there's a lot actually, but one person would be Frida Kahlo...she was an artist in Mexico during the early half of the 20th century and her artwork is amazing...people talk about J-Lo and Penelope Cruz etc. being the first Latinas to "make it" in this world, but she was the Original. She married Diego Riviera, also a famous Mexican artist, but that's not why she's memorable. Her artwork, mostly self-portraits, and depictions of indigenous culture, reflected a new kind of modern art at the time, a combination of realism, symbolism, and surrealism. She was very proud of her Mexican heritage and of being a woman. Salma Hayek played her in the movie about her called "Frida".

Rita Moreno, actress.
She played in West Side Story and basically lived in the era that it was set it. She related to us a lot of the flak that the spanish minority has had to deal with. (I'm not hispanic).
Her impact was in her ability to bring the character to the people. People can now relate to hispanics and their situations due to that movie.
There are probably a lot of other hispanics but she sticks out in my mind and I sincerely hope that her work as an actress brought about other good hispanic actresses success.
