Have an uncle or man friend tell him that hairy arm pits are a REAL turn on for most women! It shows OFF their masculinity! Show him how to trim them if he is unusally hairy. I have a 19 yr old son and a 16...neither of them care. I always made it a point to ask them if they "got their man hair under their arms yet"? Made a big deal about how great it's going to be to have a MAN for a son! LOL wink My boys are very proud of their pits & fussy chins. Good luck with that!

Get him a razor with a long guard on it. Short guards are for close shaves, long guards leave more hair. Have him buzz his pits. If money is an issue, he should be able to trim them on a regular basis. Walking around looking like you have Whoopie Goldberg and Old Weird Harold from Fat Albert in dual headlocks would make anyone uncomfortable. A little trimming advice will put him in the sun.

Sorry to point it out but it's not embarrised, it's embarrassed. There a spell-check, use it. I don't understand what the problem is, most 15 year olds have hairs under their arms. It just means is turning into a man, surely he should be happy about it, unless there a much deeper reason for his embarrassment...

Nothing- the last thing he'll want to hear is akward gushy stuff from mom or dad...... just leave him alone and he'll get over it. Many teenagers- boys and girls go thru stages when they feel embarrassed by body changes, and it just takes time for them to adjust.

He's probably a little metrosexual or may think they are dirty and smelly. Just have him shave them off or wax them. After feeling the pain of the wax he may never have a problem with them again.

If he's so embarrassed he could trim or shave them off! I still freak about it even though I'm a girl cause when I shave I'm so afraid I might miss some.

Why don't you have him trim them down. I was embarrassed for a while too. You caan't say anything to him to mke him feel better you are a parent (YUK). Have an Uncle or cousin talk to him for better results.
Good Luck.

How hairy? You can tell him he's becoming a man. And that it is only natural.
