They need a tank with plenty of water and room to swin. It needs to be relativly deep, minnimum is enough for them to fully submerge, preferably at least a foot deep. There has to be a place where they can get fully out of the water and bask in the sun (or artificial light) feed them some pellets, aquatic plants, and live fish or de-clawed crayfish

One thing to note: in general, Maps like moving cooler water, while Sliders like still and warmer water. They can share habitat, but it usually takes a little more work and space.

yes i have 2 of them and soon to becoming 8 if lucky i can realy typ that much here but you can im me with the things you need help on
