My teacher is pregnant, and I am so excited. I know the school year is almost over, but what can I do to make her feel happy on the days she's feeling low or angry or whenever those mood swings pick up. Is their anything special I or we as a class could do for her? Any hints, ideas tips are appreciated!

Thanks!

wow what a lovely kid you are. your mother should be very proud of you. i would if . i dont know how old you are but if you all club together and buy a baby t shirt for quid or two and go to print shop and get them to print "teachers pet" on it and give it to her as a class gift im sure she will have a chuckle and a tear in her eye. good luck

By the time the bad, late preg. moodswings come along, she'll be on leave. What you can do to help her, is give her chocolate, salty potatoe chips, sweet/salty/sour/minty/etc. things to keep the swings to a minimum. I think you should throw a party for her, with lots of diff. kinds of food. Maybe you or your mom can make/buy her a babyset.
1 of the best gifts, is a bassonet, filled w/ all types of baby stuff (ecsp. good if it's her first child", maybe some books on names.
ALSO!!
What if u offer to help teach the classes, maybe give her a day where she can just watch, and you all can helpt teach? Don't give her too rough a time, with arguments and crap. Maybe, as a class, you can all stay after school for a couple days, visit the sewing classrm (if u have 1) and can (together) make her a quilt!! Its such a sweet idea, then her baby'll have a crib/car/stroller blanket!!
SOme websites say "papmpering" will help with mood swings, so either have everyone chip in for a spa day, or give her some lotion.
Just don't let her stray off alone, because this'll just worsten the moodswings. Have, fun, and let her enjoy it!!!

You could organise a class "baby Shower" and ask your mom to help you make a cake (or if you're old enough, do it yourself) and decorate it with some of those little ducky sugar thingies found in the baking aisle. Get some friends to chip in here and there with beverages, candy, chips, cups, plares, forks, etc. And everyone can bring something small... I know you guys aren't made of money but maybe a rattle from someone ($1) and a pack of bottles from someone else ($3), burp rags ($5), box of wipes ($3) stuff like that. And then show up to class with these things and present them to her at the beginning as a surprise and eat the cake and stuff as you go through your lesson plan. That'll make her feel like you care, and it will be a memory to last a lifetime, she'll tell her kids about it when they're older and probably even record it in the baby book... if someone brings a disposable camera they can take pics and then just give it to her at the end of class when the roll is almost full.
Or just help her out, when you see she's doing something like passing out papers, offer to do it for her.

You must be a very nice young person.Just be aware that your teacher may be in an unpredictable mood sometimes and make some difficult to under stand decisions. But this may not be like this at all .My daughter was a very happy ,vibrant person last year and now we have a most adore able little granddaughter

Maybe get like 2 or 3 dollars per person, and go to the dollar store and get her some baby things and put them in a basket with a big bow that would be nice, cheap and easy

I bet she would really enjoy a lil party during class. Just get together and get her some flowers or get a gift for the baby.

It would also help if everyone could do their HOMEWORK and pay ATTENTION in class!

the purely ingredient that concerns is that she is a robust instructor, the youngsters are attending to entice close, and the instructor isn't by some potential risking her health or the existence of her unborn infant at the same time as preparation.

Try fetching her things so she doesn't have to run around the room too much. It's nice to be waited on :)
