I'm in need of some new music to listen to. I love Dixie Chicks, Norah Jones, Beulah...... guitars, pianos, acoustic, folk and country. Anything along these lines???

Try to listen to Paulo Nutini, he's fresh and unique. Also Snowpatrol. It is good to listen to new stuff. Try some Jazz, Jamie Cullum, Clare Teal. If you like Norah Jones you should like Clare Teal. Oh yes, and Alison Moyets more recent albums. All good stuff. Enjoy!!!

I was gonna recommend Oasis, esp acoustic / live acoustic. Check out the songs Noel sings like

Im sure theres more. If you can download it (from limewire etc) get their MTV unplugged set. Thats acoustic and Noel is simply awesome!

Yeah Jack Johnson is cool. Also, Aimee Mann is really nice stuff. Nick Drake is excellent as well....the list could go on : )

red hot chili peppers...they focus most on guitar and vocals, and are super wonderful and awesome. you might like some of their older stuff, but not too old, like 90's-ish. or, try R.E.M. theyre good too. but you would really like Barenaked Ladies, i think. theyre real mellow. maybe Phish?

i think you could like the britpop like oasis, the verve or blur, you know is good to try something brand new, the aocustic that Noel Gallagher offers are brilliant, and i think that something you might like
