It happened 2 days ago when I was travelling, I have great wireless connection but I cannot open any website - page is unavailable etc. Probably it's something from settings. Please help.

Hey,

Radio Shack has some cool things for traveling and going wireless. 1. It is an device that alerts you when there is an Access Point available. 2. Some others. They sell all sorts of stuff. All this stuff is beneath or by the side of routers.

I have wired connection, and it went out on my not too long ago. Yesterday, so I took the card out and put it in another slot since I have two PcmCiaa ( Something Similar) slots.

By the way, if anyone is curious what pc I have, its a Toshiba Tecra 8000. 2 pmciaa slots.

I really hoped it helped. If you have any more questions, you can ask me.

Thanks,
Billy

Even if you have a connection it may not mean that what you are connected to has a connection. You can be connected to the Wireless Access Point (WAP) but the WAP may not have network connectivity to provide you with the needed access to the Internet. That is just one of many possibilities. If it is not a constant problem then it may be something like that, if it is on going then it may be a problem with your TCP/IP settings, your firewall, or many other possibilities.
