Certain-Dri!

It's my lifesaver in the summer when I have to wear long-sleeved blouses to work because I also sweat a lot.

It's prescription strength, and she'll only need to apply it every few days or so because it basically seals up your sweat glands. It's safe and effective, and available in drugstores, as well as places like Wal-mart and Target.

Also, FYI, it won't help with BO at all. In fact, it doesn't help prevent any, so even if she has a little odor, just brush on a small amount of regular deodorant.

AND, do NOT apply after shaving. I learned the hard way.

Good luck.

Have her try botox injections a woman who had this problem had botox injections around the arm pit for some thing else started to realize tat she wasn't sweating as much in that area went back to the doctor and had several shots of botox in her arm pits and she didn't sweat any more or while the botox lasted. It's worth a try.

I had the same problem, although I'm 20 yrs older. All of a sudden I just had under arm wetness that I had never had trouble with before. My doctor gave me some cream to put on and it has dried up. Try asking your doctor or nurse about it.

Some people just sweat more, but if it's sudden, I'd just call a doctor. She was on the patch when she was 16?

Is your daughter overweight? If No, try a different type of clothing material, one that breathes easier.
If she is a bit overweight, she may need to lose some weight.
Some people just sweat a lot. Try ANTI perspirant, not deodorant.

It sounds like Hyper-Hydrosis, excessive sweating.

I would talk to a Pharmacist and ask if this could be a symptom of the birth control. If you have the information page for the patch she is on, read it and see if this is a symptom.
