the obvious choice for me would be Family Guy that show is hysterical. - but about 10 years ago HBO ran Spawn the animated series and it was only a half- hour show once a week. My friends and I would get together and have a small party every week we would watch not making a sound and then spend the next week talking about the episode that we just watched. It was groundbreaking and it WASN"T for kids which is why I loved it so much I am a huge Spawn fan and continue to read the comic to this day.

I've always loved the ones that were made for Merrie Melodies/Looney Tunes, e.g. Marvin the Martian, Bugs Bunny & Elmer Fudd. They were humorous and sardonic. Don't get me wrong, I love Family Guy and the Simpsons but the classics can be enjoyed by both children and adults. Shouldn't humor and laughter be universal?

That would have to be the anime 'Bleach' because it's got something for everyone. Cool sword-fights in every episode, the main character is a pretty average kid who can see ghosts, and through a series of exciting events becomes a substitute 'shinigami' (death god). There's also a very bishie archer, talking stuffed animals, and evil spirits trying to devour souls.

my all time favorite cartoon: well I have 2.
1. Tom and Jerry: its not everyday you see a cat get outsmarted and beat up by a mouse
2. The Animaniacs: how many cartoons do you know that can belch out classical music.

Tom & Jerry....that cartoon always made me laugh no matter what was on my mind,
Can't believe there getting rid of it....they say it too violent for kids....well if u think thats too violent for kids....u'd best never let them out of the house again....because the world outside your house door is way more violent than that cartoon
The best you can do to avoid your kids getting effected by the violence in the world is teach them logic.....& hope they think for themselves and can judge what is right & what is wrong
