well either way you look at it its going to be four hours, with you given selection.
i would suggest that you do the 5:00-9:00. if anyone works that will give then the opportunity to attend your shindig.

I would do it on 5:00-9:00 so they would spend more and have more fun.

Depends on how old the people attending are. If they are younger kids, the earlier the better. For adults, the later the better.
Both times are not too bad though. Can you get it from 4 to 9? That way you cover all your bases...

It really depends who the party is for. If children, then 4-8
It also depends on what day of the week, if a Saturday, then 5-9
You may want to consider the time of day and people will be expecting to eat dinner at this time.

It depends on what they do at night. Do they do black light skating or anything like that? I would probably do the 5-9.
