No, forced abortions are ILLEGAL in every state. A parent can NOT force their child to abort. If you are being pressured to abort your baby or if you need a safe place to stay, please go to a crisis pregnancy center as soon as possible. They can answer all your questions and find you help. All of their services are free and confidential. You can find one near you by calling 1-800-395-HELP or visiting http://www.optionline.org/advantage.asp
If your mother tries to force you into a car to go to an abortion clinic, yell and make a huge fuss. Yell, "Call the police!" until someone intervenes. Remember, your baby's life is stake. This is the time to be courageous. If your mom somehow tricks you into going to a clinic, refuse to go inside. If you go inside, everyone there will try to pressure you into abortion and may even put you under without your consent. Say that you do NOT want the abortion, run out the door, and ask someone to call the police.

Remember, if you are pregnant, you are a mother now too. Your baby is depending on you for protection, and her life is more important than your mother being upset. Most likely, your mother will come around when she sees her grandbaby for the first time.
Be strong. Don't let anyone hurt you or your baby.

It depends on how many ultra religious Christians there are in the area. Georgia is one of those states that a LOT of things are open on. One of them is the age of consent.
If the parent/s can find a doctor to say that the child's health is endangered by the pregnancy, then that puts the decision in the parents hands, since the welfare of THEIR child is at stake. Parents also have quite a bit of control over the children in most cases. They usually can FORCE the abortion through coercion.
Finally, Georgia is a state that wants to ABOLISH abortion in all cases, so the girl can raise a ruccus with the local TV and newspapers and even get national media attention about how she wants to keep her child, but her mom wants to take it away and force the Georgia legislature to protect her and help her keep her child.
If the dad is ALSO 15 years old, it is fine in the state of Georgia. They are both the same age, and it was not rape, so there are no charges that could be filed against him - other than for child support if he ditches the girl and does not marry her.

Actually, no. It's completely up to the daughter, in EVERY state. While some states require parental consent for abortion, none of them will perform an abortion on someone based on a parent or partners choice to abort the baby. Most places will actually question the pregnant woman alone, to make sure that is really her decision and no one elses.

Your body your choice, your mom can not make you do anything and in most states one a teen gets pregnant they are kind of considered an adult in many ways such as they have the right to move out and no the mother can not press charges against the boy due to him being only 15.
What is she going to do? Walk into a police station and say my 15 year old daughter is pregnant and moved in with her 15 year old boyfriend because I want her to kill her baby and she wants to keep it so arrest him? Yeah I can tell you what the police are going to say, come back when an actual crime is committed.

If it's all about "choice," then where's the 15-year-old's choice? No good parent, IMO, would make their daughter have an abortion--that's murder!
Pretty nutty that a 13-year-old can have an abortion without telling her parents in some states!
She should see if there's a crisis pregnancy center in her area--they can help!

No the mother can't force her daughter to get an abortion and she can't press charges against a 15 year old because they're both still minors.

Soo thats in tennessee but thats what I have heard, and I dont know if some of my friends are idiots or not. But here they cant do nething to you without your consent.

Ooo, I don't think anyone can make a girl have an abortion. I wish I knew more specifically about your location so I could do some research in your area to make sure.

get to a friend or relative and call an attorney to ask about your rights as the mother of this baby, call the local crisis preg center, they can help with local resources, and call catholic social services, they have parenting programs and can help with many things, they really helped me with a crisis pregnancy last year, i wound up keeping my baby instead of giving her up for adoption. they can be found at cssatlanta.com or 404-885-7275. you are so young and this will be very hard for you but there are places that can help and hopefully all grandparents and the father of your baby will eventually be supportive (maybe when they see the tiny little face of their grandchild your parents will ask your forgiveness). good luck
