How would I go about trying to find this teacher I used to have?
It was 10 years ago and he doesn't teach at the school I used to go to and the school didn't know where he was...
I don't even have to find him exactly, just would like a way to write him a letter....
any ideas?

Look him up on either the whitepages or the yellow pages online. You might find him there. Or you may call the school and someone there may be able to help you. Just tell them that you were a student 10 yrs ago, and that you would like to get in touch with him. Its worth a try.*

Phone book??.. umm.. ask all of your close friends if they have heard anything...
Also look on google, type in school friends or something and i think its classmates.com.. he might be on the website of how to contact him..
But yeah.. try that.. or you could talk to the teachers in the school to find out maybe some of his close teacher friends or close friends.... You could picture yourself as an old man... and try and find a place he would go.. maybe he's in a retirement home.. maybe he's out gambling, maybe he's on a holiday..
Maybe he went to teach at another school...
Youcould poke a hole in a styrofoam cup and then stick thread in it, and put another styrofoam cup on the other side of the string... then.. listen closely and see if you can hear his voice... haha.. sorry i have some bizaare ways about me..
I Hope you find your Teacher!
Have a great day!!

Try a Yahoo People Search.

type in "rate my teacher" into google.. various sites will come up and there are a couple where you can actually type in the teacher's name- school, subject, and student ratings will appear for that individual.

Google his name and school and years attended. Might work. I found an old friend this way.

Try MySpace. Everybody in the world has a page (unless they're over the hill).

Call the old school, tell them you'd like to see if you give them a letter that maybe if they have his forwarding address they could send it to him. Since they probably won't give out his actual address. Good luck!
