honestly, I believe that when one cheats they really do not care at all about the spouse. Usually, it is the beginning of the end. But the doesn't mean you should ever admit to it. You know you are guilty and what good is it going to do by hurting the other person any more than need be. My best suggestion is to just get out of the relationship without making it any worse.

Admit it upfront. Lying is just to low end. Cheating is bad enough why then try to hide it? Lying about it is a separate breech of trust.

If I ever did, I would admit to it fairly quickly. Partly out of fear she would somehow find out anyways, and partly because of guilt - my guilt would eat me up and I couldn't function. She also would notice a change in my behavior and would know something is wrong. I coudn't hide it.

I have a feeling if my wife did, she would never admit it, and she would deny it deny it deny it, even if I had hard evidence.

I wouldn't have to admit anything. I tell my husband who I am with. That is one of the nice things about a open marriage.

Hmm, good question! I'd like to think I'd not do it at all but if I did. I'd admit it. The only reason for that is that my husband is a wonderful man and he would deserve the truth. I don't know what I would do if he wasn't.

I did cheat and never got caught and didnt tell until my husband did it to me, then i told him, so i could hurt him the same way he hurt me and he knew how it felt. Not that this somethng to be proud of, but I was smarter about it than he was, and even when I was 'onto him' and knew deep down, he still kept lieing. Only thing he didnt bank on, was his whore telling me. yah, she told me every thing. Then he was busted.

admit it as soon as possible because sooner or later the truth will come out....it always does...and its better to hear it from you then someone else...if there is a chance for the relationship to continue

I wouldn't tell if I had an actuall affair because I wouldn't think it fair to ease my guilt at my husbands expense. He would really be so angry with me if I ever had sex with anyone without asking him first and gettting his permission but that wouldn't be cheating to us.

most people would not admit it if they had something to loose, but if they had nothing they valued and they would be found out anyway i think they would be honest and admit to it.
