You should check out e-bay. I bought a 256MB memory stick for about 17 bucks and as yuo may know, they usually go for 40 bucks in stores. I also got an SD card 256MB for a few bucks. All in great condition! So I think you should try it.

They have really good sales around the holidays, but I just bought a 2 gb Sans Disk at Best Buy for $29.99.

http://www.newegg.com has consistently the best customer service and support (and fastest shipping) of any computer supply website out there, all for reasonable prices.
If I'm really hungering for a good deal, I check out http://pricewatch.com, which is a computer supply price comparison site. But honestly I still check newegg first to see if they've got deals I like, because usually if there's any premium at all (and oftentimes there isn't!), it's worth it for the experience.
