Well there were a few problems with Test. He was a nice addition to the ECW roster when he came in as Paul Heyman really liked him and wanted to make him a main eventer. After Heyman was releaved of his duties as ECW "owner" Test was really the only guy capable of competing against Bobby Lashley apart from Hardcore Holly.
Problems apparently arose when Vince McMahon took a more hands on approach to ECW. Because of the launch of WSX on MTV, Vince wanted more to do with ECW so that he could take the ratings away from WSX. He then did not beleive that Test was main event quality and dropped him to the mid card.
In recent weeks Test has apparently gone against the WWE Wellness policy and tested positive for some kind of drug. That could be the underlying reason for his departure.

Everyone below me is a moron. Go look on WWE's website, it says they RELEASED him. NOT still suspended, NOT that his contract expired. RELEASED.
