Not until Green Bay gets some quality receivers who can get more room between themselves and their defenders.
Last season, he was 4th in interceptions thrown, and he only threw as many TDs as he did INTs. In other words, for every TD he threw, he also threw an INT. Also, his completion percentage was 56%, 6th worse in the NFL.
While he is a very talented QB, he is often forced to throw up hopes and prayers to less than stellar receivers. This is also a product of his offensive line. The line is very young, and definitely improving, but Green Bay will need serious help at wide receiver (and running backs to mix up the offense a bit) in order for Favre to become the highly effective QB that he is.
Also note that his mobility will be a question coming off of ankle surgery in the offseason - which is one of his strongest attributes considering how few times he was sacked last year (relative to others).

No way, Favre is too old and makes too many bad decisions. I'm not sure if he has ever even had an MVP worthy season. He would also need a better line, running back, and wide receivers.

Not unless the Packers are challenging for the Super Bowl OR Favre puts up career numbers (you have a better chance at the first option than the second).

His MVP time was 10 years ago. The team does not have it in them to get him a good enough season to be considered for it. He has almost run out of gas. He has a few more TDs left in him, but it is time for him to hang up the pads.

Any player is a contender for MVP. If he stays solid and they have a great year, he could be. He'd have to have a monster year to win it though.

No. OK, well technically right now the fourth string QB for the Lions is a contender. Seriously though, it is doubtful.

No. He was one of the greatest quarterbacks of during the 1990's and early 2000's, but now he is too old. The man needs to retire and be happy with his super bowl ring.
