my husband has had ear problems in the past, he is now having a brownish yellow dischage and it smells really bad, this has been going on for weeks now, i have had alot of ear infections and it never looked like that so i was wondering if anyone has had this problem or could tell me what it is, please no answers telling me to go to the doctor, we already have an appointment in a week

I looked it up in the internet and they said that one of the causes for something like that is a really bad infecction and that it was necesary to get a treatment, because you could loose your hearing capabilities. So, don´t miss your doctors appointment please!

Clear color is normal water from nose, sinuses
use warm moist air
irriigate nose with saline
use a decongestant like sudafed
