i will start clomid and the clear blue fertility monitor my next cycle and just want to know what are the chances of being successful.

I got pregnant on the first round and and now have a beautiful 2 1/2 month old daughter

I conceived all three of my pregnancies on Clomid. The first one I got pregnant my first round on it and 50mg/day. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage, but it didn't have anything to do with the Clomid. The second time, it took 8 rounds (starting out at 50mg/day, but was gradually increased until I was up to 250mg/day), but after 7 rounds my OB did a laparoscopy and discovered I had endometriosis, which he removed immediately. I conceived the very next month. My third pregnancy took 6 rounds of Clomid (50mg/day for all 6 rounds). I ovulated every one of those months, so I have no idea why I didn't conceive the first 5 of those months. If Clomid doesn't work for you or if you experience any side effects, ask your doctor about Femera, which is another fertility drug that works the same way as Clomid, but supposedly doesn't have the side effects. The only side effects I experienced with Clomid were irritability (which didn't last long since you only take it for 5 days) and a few night sweats. Best of luck to you.

I have a gf that just had her baby a week ago. He was a result of clomid. It took her a bit to get the dose right, but as soon as it was right, she got pregnant. She lost the first baby, but the second one worked. Good luck on becoming a mom.
