NOT KIDDING.


So I guess they deserved the credit.....they got to brag about the Super Bowl, so congrats on one more succesful black story.



They where Slaves in the 1800's who invented it...

Canada did too have Slaves.


People from Eurpoe brought them there.


America wasent the only place to have them.

Every european country did, as a matter of fact, all countrys did.


Maybe it wasent "offical" like it was here, but they did have slaves.

smh... how do you invent putting a ball in a hoop? That s laughable. I suppose one would have to go back to indigenous cultures because putting a round object into a circle was a pass-time long before the production of other man-kinds.

That s right do the research... this was a pass-time before the invention of the wheel. Got news for you... there is nothing new under the sun.. just new to the New born on the planet. The Caucasoid are credit with only ONE thing... as a culture they rewrite what already exist as there own and then turn what was fun to do into a competitive capitalist market.

What was once fun to indigenous people has become fun to those that watch cause they don t have any talents of their own. Europeans as the new born on earth have documented as the first record they are aware of... The First basketball type game may have been played by the early Olmec people of ancient Mexico as early as 500 years go. The Olmec were an African culture...The Aztec, and Mayan cultures also had a game similar to basketball, only instead of a rubber ball they used the decapitated skulls of their conquered foes.

The invention of hockey is a grey area. Mainly because it derives from other sports. You'll see many places claim they invented it. Montreal, Halifax, Kingston, etc.

I studied hockey history for one of my courses and the best you can do is say that Montreal was the host of the first official recorded game (newspaper).

Slavery has been around the world since the beginning of time and not just in Caucasian societies. It is still going on in countries such as Africa today. I am of Slavic ancestry (white skin) and that is where the word slave derives from as we were held by the Romans as Slaves. Everyone could cry about how their ancestry was hindered but it is best to look forward and move on as otherwise one is wasting their time on earth.

Hockey as we know it today was invented while slavery was going on in the US. Four escaped slave families fled to Nova Scotia in 1815, and their children were the ones to originate the sport just to have something to do outside in the snow and ice. This was some 50 years before conventional hockey history began, it grew into a team sport made up of mostly blacks and black coaches and probably owners.

Leagues consisting of mostly black and probably some Native Americans were formed (the most famous being the CHL or Colored Hockey League, but this may have been a league started by whites to break up the other black leagues), this was way before the Lord Stanley people took over.
