Anytime no protection is used you can be pregnant. However, there are times in your cycle when pregnancy is a higher risk than other times. Basically, the middle of your cycle (the farthest away from your periods) is when you are most likely to become pregnant, but this is not always the case and is just a general rule of thumb. So, if you were in the middle of the cycle on 2/3 then it is more likely that you are than if you were on or close to your period that day. But like I said some women get pregnant on their period so it is never 100% safe no matter when. You can take an early results home pregnancy test (like First Response) a few days before your period is even due! But if the result is negative and you don't get your period you should test again b/c it may have just been too early too test. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure what they're NOT teaching in health classes nowadays, but did you know that as soon as you start your mentrual cycle, that's your body's way of stating that it's ready to conceive a child? Just b/c you're 17 does not make you exempt from getting pregnant. My sister was 17 and had my nephew at 18. My friend was 16, my s/i/l was 15, 2 girls on our cheerleading squad were 17. What makes you think that just b/c you're 17 it's not a sign that you can't get pregnant! If you're worried about it, take a test. If it's negative, maybe you should consider not having sex b/c you're way too young to have a baby.

I think you should stop having sex until you know what your doing. Wow. Your sitting in front of the computer look up how you can get pregnant first thing they'll say is If you don't use protection you can get pregnant as long as you have a menstrual cycle of ANY sort. And what does the 3rd of Feb. have to do with anything. You can get pregnant on any day including Sunday.
YOU KNOW WHAT? BETTER YET SOMEONE GET THIS GIRL A CHASTITY BELT AND THROW AWAY THE KEY!!

If your seventeen or thirty-seven you'll still have the same probability [if not more at seventeen] of getting pregnant especially when you do not use protection. Wait for your missed period then take a pregnancy test. If the results are negative get on birth control if being a mother isn't in your plan. Best of Luck!

Did you ever get the whole sex talk? If not you really need to read up on it. Get a health book from school or a library, go see your doctor and tell them you need to know all about the reproductive system. If you get your period you can get pregnant whatever age you are and it doesn't matter what day of the month it is. Go get help honey, tell a trusted adult you need to learn about sex, and for gods sake use a condom.

i'm 16 im pregnant.. take the test. check when you ovulated. go online and google "ovulation calculator". follow the instructions and see if u ovulated on feb 3. even if u didnt ovulate you could still be pregnant. let's hope your not, unless you want that sort of thing. i'm having metallic tastes in my mouth and heartburn, a little nausea. nothing too bad yet. but take the test, and if you keep the baby, make sure you are responsible enough to care for it. I'm only in early pregnancy and i'm already planning! well, good luck!

Yes it is very possible to get pregnant at any time with unprotected sex even if you are 17....you don't even really have to have your period first. My cousin (several years ago) had not started her period yet so she thought she was safe from getting pregnant. Well one day she started having cramping, vomiting, and sore all over....her mom thinking she had the flu took her to the ER only to find out she was pregnant.

By the way it is "If you HAD sex...not done....and it is PREGNANT not pegnate!

Age is not a factor in becoming pregnant if you have a menstrual cycle and are sexually active.
Yes you could be pregnant. You also could have exposed yourself to life threatening diseases.
Use condoms EVERY TIME! No matter what.
I think maybe you should do some research and talk with a counselor, parent, or another adult that you trusts and get more facts before engaging in a sex life. I am not saying not to have sex, just educate yourself BEFORE you do.
Good luck!

What does being 17 and the 3rd of February have to do with anything? Is this like a lunar eclipse day or something?
