Ohh isnt it so awful? I hate it! I suffer from the same thing. It is your hormones making you feel that way. Your not alone! A lot of people feel that way! You are not fat, greasy or gross! It is just what your body makes you feel like. And yeah we all get emotional also. I get really moody. And it's okay to cry! But you are not any of those things! Hope this helps. And its all a part of womanhood! -Rayna F.

I felt the same - it got to the point where I realised that I couldn't cope with periods anymore and I went on the injection. It really suits me, it is wonderful to not have to worry about hormones and periods. The injection isn't recommended for long term use, so I am considering having the implant. The implant has a 60% chance of stopping you periods, so I'm thinking about it.
Hope you feel better soon x

Be thankful you only feel gross and fat, and you're not feeling cramps. I have killer cramps, once or twice a year, i can't even move or get out of bed because it hurts so much. like something squeezing my insides. But yeah, the yukky feeling is not good. You can try a tampon for that, i feel tampons work better to keep that freshnes, but i can't do much for your feeling ugly. If it's cramps though, Ibuprofin works. I usually take four 200 mg if it really hurts. Good luck.

darlin its your hormones. i am exactly the same. a few days before mine i'm usually picking at my other half about silly things just to offload some aggression, which comes from my hormone imballance. have you tried taking hormones? like the pill etc? i personally cant as they make me suicidal! it might be worth going to the docs or just feel comforted in teh knowledge that all girls get like that. i also break out in spots at that time of the month. you will find although everyone is different and have different reactions, everyone still is effected by this time of the month. hope this helps. chin up!

No this is normal, sorry to break this news! I don't know how old you are but as you get older there will probably be other symptoms and not all of them unpleasant. It's what we women have to put up with, I know EXACTLY what you mean by gross and greasy it made me laugh.

i proberly speak for most women, when i say we all feel like that, its the natural process to happen, i feel that way for 2 weeks of the month 1 week when due on 1 week when im on, and you go through different stages, cravings anger and emotional, its all to do with the hormones and water retention makes you feel bloated, i suggest water relief a week prior to your period, that alone will take away the pains of tender breasts, and a bloated tummy, as for the rest its just nature sweety we all suffer,xx

it's those damn hormones.
it's like that.
i prescribe a huge bowl of chocolate ice-cream.
ur not fat,
ur not greasy
ur not gross
it's ur poor hormonal body.
we all have Fat Days, they happen more at that time of the month 2. we're women, we get used 2 the hormonal Yo-Yo.
u'll feel better after the Ice cream.

Your hormones are all in a dither. Get used to it. It will go on for about 40 years. Some herbal remedies help. Try evening primrose oils.

You need to look into your diet, eat MORE Green particularly during this time - trust me it works - there are books about it now that you can buy or borrow from the library. Totally unbelievable what a difference it makes.
