How much more can I expect to make in a degree in Computer Science? How is having a bacholors degree going to change my life?

It is definitely worth it. Education should be a right, but it unfortunately became a privilege. Maybe you feel you are losing your income at the moment, but in a couple of years you will see the difference in your lifestyle.
You will learn new and exciting things and will soon become very "hireable" by multiple employers.

I would like to think that a college education will change your life. It all depends on your situation and mostly, where you live. I know plenty of people with college degrees that don't work in the field they studied for. If you get a degree in Computer Science, make sure you find a career in that field. Otherwise, it would be a waste of time to go to college. Plus, you'll have all these student loan debts that take years to pay off and you'll have nothing to show for it. Perhaps you can try getting a degree in Business Management or Humanities so that you can get ahead in your blue collar job.....good luck!

It should change your opportunities a lot and your salary. Education is usually requirement for salary raises and certain jobs in your field. You were stuck where you were now you can move up
