A ferret will not kill a snake to eat it. The problem with a ferret is that they are playful. It may try to have fun with the snake, in turn, killing it by accident. Keep the ferret in its cage until you find the snake

There's an easy solution for your problem. Make sure to supervize your ferret untill you find your snake. In my oppinion you should be worried about your ferret. If he does find the snake he'll probably want to play with it. The snake might freak out and bite the ferret. please keep a close eye on your fuzzy untill you find the snake.

Pets that are actually not a great theory to have around ferrets are; birds, snakes, gerbils, hamsters, mice and rats. Ferrets are mousers by skill of nature, and could attack and now and returned kill small rodents and birds. Snakes will see ferrets as prey, and the ferret does not oftentimes come out the winner. i think of it may well be desirable to maintain the two removed from one yet another.

A ferret does not eat snakes. He might play with them that they be killed, but he will not eat the snake. Possibly you are thinking of a Mongoose.

I know that they will eat parrakeets. I do know a snake can be lost for months in your house and not die. My son's ball python was lost for 2 1/2 months before it was found.Hungry but not dead!! We have 2 ferrets that play with our kids, cat, and puppy. I have never seen then be anything but loving and very playful.

its possible.. if it has a motive.. otherwise it seems to me it would avoid it if its a big snake anyway.
