writing your own murder mysterys ??

Question

i am trying to write my own murder mystery and so far i have the characters, their motives and the background information. Now i have come to the point where i should write the details for what happened at the murder and im stuck! Any ideas?? Does anybody know any good websites? I need to make it interesting for 10 year olds and the clues need to be easy enough for them to follow

something that won't scare them too much... like if it was poisoning they might get scared of eating (you don't want to make them paranoid about stuff and they might be delicate!). i'd keep the murder bit really simple like a hit on the head or a stabbing if you want some blood x
