If you are talking about your storage capacity, 250 Mbytes is absolutely nothing, are you sure ? If you go to My Computer and do a a"right click" to "OPEN" it will show a graphic REPRESENTATION OF YOUR HARD DRIVE (STORAGE) it will show a pie shape, the pink is how much free space you have left. If you have a newer computer, it should be in the Gigabytes, not megabytes, we haven't used that small of harddrive in 10 years. If yours was that small, you could only run windows 95 on your computer. You may be getting your memory mixed up with your storgae space. You may have 256 Megabytes of Ram (random acess memory) Has your system told you you need more? If your computer is old with that small of a harddrive, you will not be able to upgrade it to a new drive, you will have to find an older one that is compatible. I would take it to someone who is qualified to help you!

Hard Disk Drives now come in gigabytes (GB), which are 1,000 MB each.

You can easily upgrade your PC with a larger hard drive at a local Best Buy, CompUSA, or similar store. It's a fairly easy upgrade, so if you have a friend who is computer savvy, he or she can probably do it for you.

Cost will be around $50-$75, plus the cost of the drive. A 60 GB hard drive should cost around $50-$60 or less.

I'm assuming you are talking about RAM, or physical memory...and it sould be 256MB. I would suggest getting at least 512MB installed. It really depends on what your motherboard will handle, every model is different. Get your computer model number or your motherboard model number and go to http://www.crucial.com to look up what RAM it takes and also how much it can handle.
