easy be the earth's gravity. and the earth doesn't rotate it is the sun that is going around the earth. so the sun will rotate the earth by it's gravity in space.

It always helps me to think of questions like this step by step.
The Earth rotates on the axis that runs through the North and South Poles.
The Earth orbits around the Sun.
The Sun is located in the Milky Way Galaxy. The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy, which means it has a central core of many many stars and arms that rotate around that. The Sun is in one of those rotating arms.
The Milky Way Galaxy is moving away from every other galaxy in the area. (Presumably in a straight or close to straight line)

It spins width respect to the sun every 24hrs and width respect to the stars every 23:56hrs. This effect is cause by the face the the earth is also orbiting as it spins.
